Archer-Daniels-Midland Co. The Group's principal activities are procuring, tr ansporting, storing, processing, and merchandising agricultural commodities an d products. These commodities and products include oilseeds, corn, corn sweetener, wheat, cocoa, biodiesel, ethanol, and other value-added food and feed ingredients. It operates in four segments: Oilseeds Processing, Corn Processing, Agricultural Services and Other segment. The Oilseeds Processing segment processes oilseeds into vegetable oils and meals principally for the food and feed industries. The Corn Processing segment is engaged in wet milling and dry milling corn operations. The Agricultural Services segment utilizes the Company's extensive grain elevator and transportation network to buy, store, clean and transport agricultural commodities. As of July 31, 2008, it sold its interest in International Malting Company.
