It operates through three segments: Drilling and Production Systems: Providing systems and equipment used to control pressures, direct flows of oil and gas wells; Valves and Measurement: Providing valves and related systems used to control pressures and direct the flow of oil and gas as they are moved from individual wellheads to refineries and Compression Systems: Providing reciprocating and centrifugal technology, which includes reciprocating compression equipment and related aftermarket parts and services for the energy industry. Trademarks include Ajax, Superior, Cooper-Bessemer, Penn, Enterprise, Texcentric, Compression, Specialties, and Turbine Specialties. The Group acquired DES Operations Limited in March 2007 and Filtra-Systems Company in June 5, 2007. Also in 2007, it acquired Prime Measurement Products and Paradigm Services, LP.
