Cermaq ASA. The Group's principal activity is the production of salmonid feed and farming of salmonid species, salmon and trout. The Group operates in two business segments: Fish Feed and Fish Farming. Fish Feed involves the production o f fish feed and the processing of by-products from the fish farming industry. Fish farming consists of the breeding and on-growing of salmon and trout from smolts, as well as the slaughtering, processing, sale and distribution of salmon and trout. The Group operates in Norway, the United Kingdom, the rest of Europe, the United States, Japan, Canada, Chile and other countries. In 2007 the Group acquired Polarlaks AS, Hammerfest Lakseslakteri AS and Arctic Seafood Holding AS.
