Cairn Energy PLC. The Group's principal activity is exploring for, developing and producing oil and gas. The Group's operations are located in India, Bangladesh and Nepal. The Group also has operations in the Ravva oil and gas field in t he Krishna-Godavari Basin offshore eastern India. In Bangaladesh the Group foc uses on the Sangu gas field offshore with a sharing contracts for Blocks 5 and 10 in southern Bangladesh. It also has production sharing contract for a 100% interest Block on GV-ONN-2002/1. Both blocks are located onshore of northern India adjacent to the border of Nepal.
