Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation. The Group's principal activity is to explore, develop, acquire and exploit oil and gas properties in North America. It also transports, stores, gathers and purchases natural gas for resale. The five principal areas of operation are Appalachian Basin, Rocky Mountains, Anadarko Basin, onshore and offshore the Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast, and the gas basin of West Canada. The Group Operates through four regional offices located in the East region, the West region, which is comprised of the Rocky Mountains and Mid-Continent areas, the Gulf Coast region and Canada. As on 31-Dec, 2007, the Group drilled 461 gross wells.
