Chevron Corporation. The Group's principal activities are to provide administrative, financial and management support for fully integrated petroleum, chemicals and coal mining operations. Exploration and production operations consist of exploring, developing and producing crude oil and natural gas and marketing natural gas. Refining, marketing and transportation operations relate to refining crude oil into finished petroleum products, marketing crude oil, natural gas and t ransporting crude oil, natural gas and petroleum products. Chemical operations include manufacture and marketing of commodity petrochemicals, plastics for industrial uses and fuel and lubricant oil additives. The Other operations consist of coal mining operations, power generation business, worldwide cash management and debt financing activities, corporate administrative functions, insurance operations, real estate activities and technology companies.
