ENI - Ente Nazionale Idrocarburi(ENI). The Group' s principal activities are the exploration, extraction and production of oil and natural gas; supply, transport and distribution of natural gas; refinement and distribution of oil derivative products; petrochemicals; engineering projects and related services. Other activities include involvement in real estate management, marketing ventures and information technology sectors. The Group operates in 70 countries worldwide with a staff of 73,572 employees. In 2007, the Group acquired Angola LNG Limited (A-LNG).
