The Group operates through two segments: Contract drilling and Real estate. The Contract drilling operations consist of contracting company-owned drilling equipment primarily to major oil and gas exploration companies. Its contract drilling business is composed of three reportable business segments: U.S. land drilling, U.S. offshore platform drilling and international drilling. It provides drilling rigs, equipment, personnel and camps on a contract basis so its customers may explore for and develop oil and gas from onshore areas and from fixed platforms, tension-leg platforms and spars in offshore areas. The Groups real estate investments are located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It owns and leases to third parties multi-tenant warehouse space. The Group operates in the United States, Venezuela, Chile and Ecuador.
