KGHM Polska Miedz S.A.. The Group's principal activities are the mining and refining of copper ore, reclamation of metals included in copper ore, copper metallurgy and processing and production of copper, silver and other non-ferrous metals and salt. It also produces and distributes electricity, gas and gas fuel, steam and hot water. In addition, the Group has interests in Polkomtel S.A., a provider of mobile telecommunication services; Interferie S.A., a firm engaged in tourism industry; MCZ S.A. and a health services provider. The Group produces for the domestic market in Poland and for export, mainly to Germany, France, China, Czech Republic, Great Britain and Belgium. It has got a number of Polish and foreign subsidiaries.
