Lonmin PLC. The Group's principal activity is mining, refining and marketing of platinum group metals. It has mining interest for such metals as platinum, palladium, ruthenium, iridium and rhodium. The Group has three mining operations in the Marikana area and one in the Limpopo province all located in South Africa. During 2007, the Group acquired a 94% interest in AfriOre Ltd.
