Lindsay Corporation Formerly known as Lindsay Manufacturing Co.. The Group's principal activity is to design and manufacture self-propelled center pivot and lateral move irrigation systems. It operates in two segments. Irrigation Equipment segment manufactures and markets center pivot, lateral move and hose reel irrigation systems. The infrastructure segment manufacture and marketing of movable barriers, specialty barriers and crash cushions, providing outsource manufacturing services and the manufacturing and selling of large diameter steel tubing. It sells its products primarily to certain large industrial companies and also through independent dealer locations, who resell to their customer, the farmer. Its products are sold under the trademarks, Zimmatic, Greenfield, GrowSmart, Quickchange Moveable Barrier, ABSORB 350, Universal TAU-II and SafeGuard. It operates in the United States, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Mexico, Latin America and other countries. In fiscal 2007, the group acquired Snoline SPA.
