JSC MMC Norilsk Nickel. The Group's principal activities are the exploitation, extraction and metallurgy processing of ferrous, nonferrous and precious metals in the Taymyr region (Norilsk and Talnakh area), situated in the northern part of the Krasnoyarsk territory, well within the Arctic Circle. Precious metals in clude: palladium, platinum, rhodium, ruthenium, iridium, gold, silver. Base me tals include: nickel cathodes, carbonyl nickel, copper, copper rods, cobalt and cobalt alloys.
