Meadwestvaco Corporation. The Group's principal activities are to produce packaging systems, paper, consumer and office products and specialty chemicals. The Group operates under four segments. Packaging Resources: Produces bleached paperboard, coated natural kraft paperboard, linerboard and packaging for consumer products including packaging for media, beverage and dairy, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and health care products. Consumer Solutions: Converts, designs, produces and manufactures multi-pack cartons, packing systems. Consumer and Office Products: Manufactures and markets school and office products, time management products and envelopes. Specialty Chemicals: Manufactures and markets specialty chemicals derived from saw dust and from the by-products of the papermaking process. The Group operates in 30 countries including the United States, Canada, Latin America, Europe and Asia.
