Gazprom OAO. The Group's principal activities are geological exploration, production, transmission, storage, processing and marketing of natural gas, gas condensate and other hydrocarbons. The Group operates one of the largest gas pipeline systems in the world and is responsible for substantially all gas production and high pressure gas transportation within the Russian Federation. The Group is a major exporter of gas to European countries and it is also involved in a project supplying energy carriers to Asia-Pacific and North America.
