Pioneer Natural Resources Company. The Group's principal activity is the exploration and production of oil and natural gas. The Group operates in oil and gas properties located in Permian Basin, Mid-Continent, Gulf of Mexico and onshore Gulf Coast areas of the United States. The Group also has its operations in Argentina, Canada, Equatorial Guinea, South Africa and Tunisia. The Group provides administrative, financial and management supports to its subsidiaries that explore, develop and produce oil, natural gas liquid and gas reserves. In November 2007 the company discontinued its Canadian operations.
