Subsea 7 Incorporated. The Group's principal activity is offshore subsea contract work for the oil and gas industry. The Group controls 20 dynamically positioned (DP) vessels, which carry out deep water pipelaying, subsea construction and surveys and diving support. In addition the Group operates a fleet of remote operated vehicles (ROV) and three pipeline construction yards. The Group operates through two segments namely: Construction and IRM (Inspection, repair, maintenance) and Integrated Remote Technology. Construction and IRM segment provides services in subsea engineering, installation and construction, and IRM service for all upstream oil and gas applications. Integrated Remote Technology segment provides services to support construction, IRM and remotely operated vehicles. The G roup has operations in North Sea, West Africa, Brazil, Gulf of Mexico and Asia Pacific. The Group acquired Petrology Limited in 2006.
