Southwestern Energy Company. The Group's principal activities are exploration, development and production of natural gas and crude oil. The Group operates in three segments: Exploration and Production, Natural Gas Distribution and Natural Gas Marketing. The Exploration and Production segment explores, develops and p roduces natural gas and crude oil, with operations located in Arkansas, Oklaho ma, Texas, New Mexico, and Louisiana. The Natural Gas Distribution segment distributes and transmits natural gas to residential, commercial and industrial customers in northern Arkansas. The Natural Gas Marketing segment provides marketing and transportation services. The Other segment deals with commercial real estate operations. Its all oil production is sold to unaffiliated purchasers. The Group operates only in the United States.
