Temple-Inland Inc.. The Group's principal activities are divided into four business segments namely: Corrugated Packaging, Forest Products, Financial Services and Real Estate. The Corrugated Packaging segment manufactures containerboard and corrugating medium that it converts into a complete line of corrugated and specialty packaging. The Forest Products segment manufactures a variety of building products including lumber, particleboard, gypsum wallboard, fiberboard and medium density fiberboard. The Financial Services segment operates a savings bank and also provides mortgage banking, real estate development and insurance brokerage activities. The Real Estate segment develops real estate projects that it own directly, including its higher and better use timberland or indirectly through ventures. The Group operates in the United States and Mexico. The Group disco ntinued the operations of real estate and our financial services during 2007.
