Tenaris S.A.. The Group's principal activities are to manufacture steel pipes for the oil and gas industry. The Group manufactures Seamless pipes and Welded pipes. It operates under three segments: Tubes, Projects, and Others. Tubular products and services includes the operations that consist of the production, distribution and sale of seamless and welded tubular products. Pipeline projects includes the operations that consist of the production, distribution and sale of welded pipes mainly used in the construction of major pipeline projects. Other activities include distribution and sale of sucker rods, hot briquetted iron and metallic structures. The Group's customers include oil and gas companies and engineering and industrial companies. The Group has operations in South America, Europe, North America, Middle East and Africa, Far East and Oceania. On 7-May-2007, the Group acquired Hydril Company.
