Tractor Supply Company. The Group's principal activity is to operate specialty retail farm and ranch stores. It supplies the daily farm and ranch maintenance needs to farmers and ranchers. The products offered by the Group include livestock and pet, hardware and tools, seasonal products, truck accessories and trailers, clothing and footwear. They also include maintenance products for agricultural and rural use, lawn and garden power equipment and truck, trailer and towing products. As on 28-Jun-2008, the Group operated 814 stores. The stores are located in towns outlying major metropolitan markets and in rural communities.
