Viterra Incorporation Formerly known as Saskatchewan Wheat Pool. The Group's principal activity is to provide interrelated agri services. The Group operates in five segments; Grain handling and Marketing, Agri-products, Agri-food Processing, Livestock feed and services and Financial Products. The Grain Handling and Marketing division includes the collection of grain, shipping to inland or port terminals and cleaning of grain. The Agri-Products segment sells crop protection products, seeds, seed treatments, fertilizers and farm tools and equipment. It operates a network of 276 retail locations throughout Western Canada. The Agri-food Processing segment manufactures and markets value-added products associated with oats and malt barley. The Livestock Feed and Services segment formulates an d manufactures feed products. The Financial Products segment acts as an agent for a Canadian Schedule I chartered bank, which provides unsecured trade credit to agricultural customers and secured loans to livestock producers.
