Cimarex Energy Co. The Group's principal activity is to explore, develop, produce and market oil and gas properties. Its operations are currently focused in the Mid-Continent region which consists of Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Kansas, Louisiana and the Gulf of Mexico. It also has smaller projects underway in Michigan, North Dakota and California. It operates in one segment: Exploration, production, and Marketing of oil and Natural Gas. It explores and develops the productivity of oil and gas properties and markets most of the natural gas products explored and produced by third parties.
