Jim Rogers

 

Jim Rogers attended Yale University and Oxford, before starting his career on Wall Street apprenticing with Arnhold and S. Blichroeder in the early 1970s. Rogers then co-founded the highly successful Quantum Fund, a global-investment partnership.  Although he retired at age 37, Rogers has remained very active in the business world and is a respected commodity investor and financial commentator.

He now serves as a visiting professor of finance at Columbia University’s business school, and as a media commentator worldwide.  He is the author of Hot Commodities, Adventure Capitalist, and Investment Biker.  He recently moved to Asia with his wife and daughter.

Jim Rogers has been frequently featured in Time, The Washington Post, The New York Times, Barron’s, Forbes, Fortune, The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times, and most publications dealing with the economy or finance. He has also appeared as a regular commentator and columnist in various media.
