RVE Indexes are compiled and published by S-Network Global Indexes, LLC and calculated by Standard & Poor’s Custom Indexes. The RVE Indexes are the result of S-Network’s collaboration with Jim Rogers, an experienced long-term investor in the commodities and hard assets sector. As head of the RVE Index Committee, Jim Rogers shaped the contours of the indexes, providing guidance on key commodity-related issues and helping to define sector weightings and inclusion criteria. Van Eck Global, an investment firm with over 50 years of experience investing in hard assets, has endorsed the index. S-Network Global Indexes, LLC maintains the RVE database of 1800 index candidates and implements the rules as defined by the Index Committee. S-Network maintains oversight of index rebalancings and reconstitutions, data distribution and disclosure.
